FLIR’s Dr. David Cullin to Moderate JPEO-CBD Joint Project Managers Panel on August 3rd at NDIA Annual CBRN Defense Conference and Exhibition
The Chemical Biological Defense Acquisition Initiatives Forum (CBDAIF) provides a forum for the open exchange of Government and Industry views related to the Department of Defense (DOD) chemical-biological defense mission area. CBDAIF provides an unbiased mechanism for bridging the communication gap between commercial organizations like FLIR by facilitating an open exchange regarding policies, procedures, actions, and issues. It is organized with a Chairman and sector leads from the major commodity areas supporting the Chemical and Biological Defense Program. FLIR’s Dr. David Cullin served as the Detection sector lead in 2014, was nominated by his peers, and approved by the government to serve a three-year term as Chairman of the CBDAIF starting in the Winter of 2015.
Dr. Cullin currently serves as FLIR Detection Systems Vice President of Research, Development, and Programs. “Serving as Chair of the CBDAIF is an honor and significant opportunity for me to give back to this community, to work with the JPEO Chem-Bio Defense leadership to help align the commercial sector with the government’s strategic objectives,” stated Dr. Cullin. “I worked for the DOD as a civilian employee for fifteen years, eight within the Chem-Bio Defense Program. I have a great passion to help solve some of our Nation’s biggest challenges, like the WMD threat.”
The NDIA Annual CBRN Defense Conference and Exhibition is co-sponsored by JPEO-CBD and runs August 2-4, 2016 at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
